CryoBioPhysica is a privately owned, new, biotech research company originally engaged in immunological research. The company recently has developed novel and powerful methods for anion, cation and combined ion exchange chromatography based on the controllable formation of external pH gradients on strong ion exchangers, called pIsep.

These innovative methods have broad applications in the field of chromatographic fractionation and purification of charged biological molecules. They provide better resolution, more flexibility, and a less costly substitute for chromatofocusing and ion exchange chromatography with salt elution.
